This is an early prototype for the Mustang Tribute series, developed by Sanderson's C&C to commemorate Mustang's legendary nostalgia with modern muscle. The styling of the 2005 Mustang was a blast from the past in the classic American style. The GT's V8 4.6-liter aluminum block single overhead cam engine has an electronic throttle, three valves per cylinder and variable camshaft timing. Horse power rating 300 at 5750 RPM. Fifty percent more than the comparably sized 289 V8 bolted into the late sixties Mustang. Transmissions are five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic to a solid rear axle, which is unusual in a modern car. Dual headlights, long nose short deck proportion, hunkered down stance and a broad shoulder design with old-school rear quarter windows cascading into the rear fastback glass followed by the unmistakeably triple vertical taillights and faux rear gas cap call sign. Ford's retro design certainly reached out to the old-school Mustang enthusiast, but even the OEM GT treatment left something to be desired. But the Mustang platform has heavy aftermarket support. Sanderson's Tribute is only one example of how beautifully the Mustang can be transformed - and it's this strong aftermarket alliance that turned out to to be the most exiting thing about the new "retro" Mustang. www.coolcarsvideo.com Supercharged Mustang Tribute -Cool Cars, Hot Cars, Fast Cars http cool cars, hot cars, fast cars, dream cars, Cool Cars Video offers a feast for the eyes as well as ...
